Uninstall genieo

I followed the instructions above and removed Genieo. Currently, however, the Genieo uninstaller has permanently parked itself in my dock!!!

It wont allow me to drag it to the trash or delete it. I don't even know how this Genieo program is in my dekstop i didn't even installed it.

In this case, you can delete the temporary browser files and check if the Genieo add on is deleted from the system. If the Genieo still shows in Google Chrome browser you can delete it as the default search engine and check if it helps.

There is a file that, if left in place after one of the other files is removed, will cause this. Emptying the trash at the wrong time, removing files in the wrong order or simply missing that one vital file can easily cause this.
